The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP) has announced that its training modules are now available to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and even the general public. The courses are offered at no cost, and can be counted as continuing education credit hours for veterinary professionals.
When you visit the NVAP module site and click on a training course, the next screen lists a basic summary of the content plus the estimated amount of time it will take to complete. We checked a few courses and it looked like most ranged from 30 to 60 minutes. All courses are self-paced, so you can move through the as quickly or as slowly as needed. The courses available include:
