Are you interested in going to vet school? If you are within driving distance of the University of Georgia, the veterinary school will be hosting their annual open house on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 9am to 4pm. This free event is open to the public and no reservations are required. Full details on where to go (and where to park) can be found on the event website. More than 3,000 visitors attend the open house each year.
The open house will include demonstrations and exhibits designed to show visitors the life of a veterinary student. Visitors will also learn about animal behavior, herd health, equine reproduction, the use of computers in veterinary medicine, and many other topics of interest. A shuttle will also take attendees to tour the brand new veterinary teaching hospital.
