SuperZoo, the popular pet retail trade show, is set to debut more than 700 new pet products during its August 2-4 run in Las Vegas. The Mandalay Bay hotel will play host to the event which draws more than 15,000 pet industry professionals and over 1,100 pet product manufacturers each year.
The new product showcase is always a very competitive part of the show, with exhibitors vying for the “Best New Product” award in eight categories: aquatics, bird, cat, dog, equine, grooming, reptile, and small animal. On-site voting from attendees is used to determine the winner of each title. Trending product ideas for 2016 include high tech pet products, natural or eco-friendly products, the latest in pet fashion design, innovative pet food options, pet travel items, and much more.
The event will also feature a keynote speech from basketball legend Magic Johnson, a House of Blues concert by Styx, grooming contests worth $45,000 in prize money, various educational events, and the launch of a new pet themed line of stamps from the U.S. Postal Service.
