Calling all second and third year vet students! The annual Merck Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship Program will begin accepting applications on November 15, 2016. Applications can be submitted online via the American Veterinary Medical Foundation website, a partner with Merck for this scholarship program, until December 31, 2016.
Twenty scholarships of $5000 each will be awarded to vet students attending schools in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean. An additional fourteen scholarships in the same amount will be awarded to vet students attending select international schools. Awards will be divided equally between applicants specifying a companion animal/equine interest or food animal/aquaculture interest. Winners will be announced April 1, 2017.
