The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) has partnered with the Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI) to offer a new online certification option for veterinary professionals.
The Human Animal Bond Certification program is sponsored by industry leaders such as PetSmart Charities, Petco, Zoetis, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Veterinarians, veterinary technicians, practice managers, and veterinary assistants are eligible to enroll in the self paced course. The course takes an in-depth look at the human-animal bond and its implications for veterinary care.
After completing all course modules, a candidate must pass an exam to earn the Human Animal Bond Certification. Graduates receive a certificate to display and access to exclusive marketing materials.
The certification is currently being offered at a special price of $249 if purchased by February 16, 2018. After the “launch special” expires, the course will revert to its normal price of $299.
