Have you considered a career (or side hustle) as a dog groomer? Do you groom your own pets, or want to learn how to do it yourself? Either way, it may be worth your while to check out the free dog grooming book that was just made available by Andis Grooming College.
The new publication is titled Dog Grooming 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Dog Grooming. The book is available in print or online, and students can choose to receive their choice of either the English or Spanish edition. Dog Grooming 101 covers many techniques through tutorials and step by step instructions, provides an overview of canine anatomy as it relates to the grooming process, and gives detailed information on the proper use and care of grooming tools. A series of videos will be available online this fall to accompany the text.
The course is the first taste of Andis Grooming College’s new educational portal. It was not clear whether subsequent books would be available for free, but the Andis website already lists Large Animal 101 as “coming soon.” You can register for a free Dog Grooming 101 book to be sent to you (provided you live within the continental U.S.) via this link. For those living abroad, the book is available as a free download.
