VetMedTeam and Trupanion have partnered to offer a free online course on veterinary practice management. The course, “The Ace in the Hole for the Jack of All Trades,” focuses on how a practice manager can help the practice owner by overseeing operations, accounting, client management, HR functions, and more—allowing the owner to focus on patients and treatment. It also explores topics such as selecting the right practice manager, determining whether a practice can afford to hire a manager, and the financial and wellness-related impacts of the practice owner trying to run the business without support.
The practice management course can count for one RACE hour of CE credit and is designed for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, students, and veterinary team members. Registration is available on the VetMedTeam site and the course can be viewed at any time. VetMedTeam offers a variety of free web courses that are eligible for RACE CE credit, including a series on veterinary career burnout and wellbeing.
