Do you know (or are you) a middle school student that wants to become a vet? Royal Canin and Vet Set Go have joined forces to offer a contest that will award three grand prize winners the chance to attend Auburn University’s 2017 Junior Vet Camp (July 9th to 14th). The grand prize winners will attend the camp at no cost—the award includes tuition, housing on campus, and all meals. Ten runners up will win a free copy of Vet Set Go’s guidebook to becoming a veterinarian.
The Auburn Junior Vet Camp is booked full for 2017 and usually costs $800 per student, making this contest an amazing opportunity. (Applications for paid attendance for the summer 2018 camp will be accepted beginning in December 2017, with selected students being notified in early March 2018).
Applicants must be middle school students (rising sixth through eighth graders). Contest entries will be accepted through May 4, 2017 via the contest website. The student must prepare a 300 word personal essay and choose a photo (with a pet) to include with their application package. The application materials must then be submitted by their parent or legal guardian.
